Back Pain Solutions

Pain is generally the initial complaint of individuals presenting with low back problems. Treatment frequently addresses local pain and inflammation first before proceeding to the next step and some type of therapeutic exercise. Doctors agree that pain should only be regarded as a result from an underlying pathological problem affecting the low back. The physician should strive to establish a diagnosis which includes an identification of the underlying disorder.
NSAIDs seem to be the drug of choice for doctors treating low back pain. Without going into a lot of detail and technical medical terms, NSAIDs basically reduce the number of enzymes produced by the body that cause inflammation in problem areas.
NSAIDs are associated with several side effects. The frequency of side effects varies among NSAIDs. The most common side effects are nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, constipation, decreased appetite, rash, dizziness, headache, and drowsiness. NSAIDs may also cause fluid retention, leading to edema. The most serious side effects usually resulting from longer term use are kidney failure, liver failure, ulcers and prolonged bleeding after an injury or surgery.
I was given the NSAID, Naproxen, which I took for 1 day until I learned of how damaging these drugs can be to the body. That lead me on my next virtual journey to alternative medicine. That's when I learned about Systemic Enzyme Therapy. Enzymes are not anti-inflammatory drugs but rather reduce inflammation by neutralizing the bio-chemicals of inflammation to levels where the creation, repair and regeneration of injured tissues can take place. The Heal-n-Soothe™ formula includes what I believe to be the best combination of enzymes and herbs that I have found that have been proven to fight off inflammation and reduce pain. In fact, the makers of Heal-n-Soothe™ claim that it is the most powerful proteolytic enzyme formulation that's ever been created. Based on what I have read and experimented with, I would highly recommend the Heal-n-Soothe™ formula over the dangerous NSAIDs.
